At the very moment, Tracy Twyman's Estate could publish 15 more books in addition to the ones that have been already published posthumously. These writings consist of fiction and non fiction books, and other collections of essays and articles.

Due to legal endeavours, and other tasking efforts at damage control against fraudulent and harmful activities committed by 'Religious Fanatics' in regards to Tracy's posthumous presence and work, the publications of these materials will take a while to materialize.

A possibility is that the unpublished work won't be published in our lifetime, thus to assure the future of Tracy Twyman's posthumous presence (against damaging groups).

Did Tracy R. Twyman have a 'pact with the devil'? Yes, she had a pact that was signed with her sigil, rather with Baphomet at her age of 17 years old. The pact was located and read after Tracy Twyman's death by another witch and Seer.

A known signature within Tracy Twyman books, that she writes a book in 13 chapters.❩❨ If we include the book that was written by "Martin Lunn", and in quotes, The Da Vinci Code Decoded, the total books that Tracy wrote would be 14 books. Tracy wrote The Da Vinci Code Decoded according to her email exchanges between the DisInfo Publisher, and Martin Lunn. Martin Lunn was a member of the Dragon Court as well Tracy Twyman.

Da Vinci Code Decoded had 13 chapters including a chapter on Baphomet.

Tracy R. Twyman had 'signed' a contract with Baphomet with her Sigil at the very beginnings of her career. We had located both the contract and Tracy's own Sigil.

The reason that Rice Boyd's articles were included in The Arcadian Mystique, most likely due to the sense of ownership Tracy had for these articles. Tracy wrote all of Boyd's articles and essays according to multiple statements she made public and according to a 'letter' Tracy sent to Boyd Rice declaring and stating the reasons for her professional separation from him in January 2004.
❩❨Tracy R. Twyman & The Religious Fanatics: Tracy's written word has the power to 'corrupt' religious zealots into Satanism, even though she is not advocating such; yet with no inhibition to hide the methodology on working with the dark arts.

Tracy's writings undermine the 'belief system' of the religious fanatics, as we have witnessed, specifically absurd American religious sects' or cults' pseudo ideologies (in contrast to the well established Old World Christianity.)

These Religious Fanatics' status had well passed the station of mere Hypocrisy unto nefarious idol & demon worshiping and serving, further damning their insipid souls.

We must be honest with ourselves, and confess, there is a pleasure in watching so; like a Bull, amused while observing a serving Cuck, eagerly waiting for his turn to be ravished too after his wife is partially done with, to endure too what was inflicted on his wife, to share his wife's pains and lot, to worship the same dominant male and act on and manifest as his better half his subservience and subordination to the Bull’s piercing shaft in admiration and awe, to anticipate the same instrument that was applied afresh on his wife, and again, while the Cuck's Wife is being ravished and dominated by the same Bull, and all are in ecstasies of pleasure indulged. Thus, a metaphor for Witchcraft and assumed religions.

Religious Fanatics have been always a problem in every society throughout the history since the invention of religions and the mass hysteria such religions entertain. Tracy Twyman's work and posthumous presence is not excluded from this malignant malice neither.

Secret Statutes of The Templars

"I am pleased to present the world’s first English translation of The Secret Statutes of the Templars, discovered by Theodor Merzdorf in a Masonic library, having been copied from a document found in the Vatican Archives, and then translated by him into German, and published 1877, shortly after Merzdorf’s sudden and early demise at age 29.

The authenticity of these statutes has been a matter of controversy for almost 150 years, but due to the language barrier, few in the English-speaking world are familiar with them. My own investigation into the matter of the Templars… indicates that these statutes may very well be authentic, for the practices detailed therein– spitting on the cross, exposure of the “male member” during initiation, the repetition of Islamic prayers, and fraternizing with the Saracen enemy, along with Druzes, Cathars, Bogomils, and other heretics, as well as the worship of the idol Baphomet–are all consistent with the continuum of tradition that connects the Templars with their Gnostic predecessors, and their Freemasonic descendants, according to… research.

The content here is also consistent with the revelations contained in the Chinon Parchment, detailing the confessions that Templars made to Pope Clement V, which were discovered in the Vatican Archives… Part of what connects all the seemingly disparate sects within the continuum of tradition previously mentioned is a belief that those who have received the “Baptism of Wisdom”–called here the Baptism of Fire–are literally above the law: not just man’s law, but the law of Moses–so that nothing they choose to do may be counted against them.

We find this attitude in sects as far-flung as the Ismailis of the Middle Ages and modern Aleister Crowley-following “Thelemites.” It is, most likely, what was meant when it was said that the Cathars (a.k.a. the Albigensians) could “no longer sin” after they went through the sacred consolamentum rite, or the “Rite of Perfection,” alleged in these documents to have been practiced by the Knights Templar as well."

The essay's first English translation from Latin written by Joseph von Hammer-Purgstall Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum , first published in Vienna 1818; with Introduction and Endnotes by the occult researcher Tracy R. Twyman.

As the anniversary of the October 13, 1307 mass arrest of the Knights Templar in France looms near, American occult researcher, Tracy R. Twyman has announced that she has, for the first time, traced the real origin and meaning of the blasphemous idol that the Templars were accused of worshiping in secret ceremonies: The Baphomet.

Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum is an important Latin text translated that has been frequently referenced but rarely read by researchers on the subject for over 200 years. In this old text, Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum (The Mystery of Baphomet Revealed) by Baron Joseph von Hammer-Purgstall, the author claimed to have discovered a number of idols and other artifacts on former Templar properties, the imagery of which allegedly sheds light on the heretical secret rites and beliefs of the Templars.

If that interpretation is true, these would seem to have included child sacrifice and Devil worship, along with wild orgies of pederasty and bestiality. This translation led Tracy to the discovery that two of the artifacts mentioned in Hammer-Purgstall’s book (items long thought by some writers to be lost to history) have in fact been sitting unnoticed in the British Museum this entire time... and the rest in the book Baphomet: Secret of the Temple Unveiled.”

“In my opinion, Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum is, in addition to being a study of history, also a piece of history itself, and is history’s most important document pertaining to Baphomet, aside from the Templar trial documents themselves... This is because... while the story of Baphomet (as an entity under that name) may have begun with the Templars, it really developed as a concept mostly since Hammer‐Purgstall’s time, under his influence, both directly and indirectly.

"[F]rom my own experience on this project, I do believe that this text, the images, and indeed the entire subject matter, is cursed. I have had... frankly the worst luck of my life, while studying the subject of Baphomet for the last sixteen years, especially whenever I tried to focus on the Hammer‐Purgstall translation in particular. .. [I] have even have a term we have coined— “the Fog”—for the mental confusion, inertia, and weariness we felt overtake [me] whenever [I] sit down to work on it. ..The curse of Baphomet strikes again!"

"…I think the curse on Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum was intended to prevent anybody from getting as far as I have with making sense of this particular text, and from publishing it. If you are reading this, then that means the curse has failed, and maybe, with the help of the benevolent deity (however he may be identified), this demon guardian has been destroyed."

So please, carry on, dear seeker, forward and beyond!"

Throughout her career, Tracy had proceeded many times to create what is worthy of Baphomet, and worthy to her uncanny ability in uncovering the origins of things that proved impossible to others. And she did, yet never enough. Her work on Hammer-Purgstall’s Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum is her magnum opus in regards what she sought: a comprehensive statement that marks a landmark within the scholarship on the subject, and the magic, that is of Baphomet; and this was only promised to her. Her work which is in between hands, demonstrates more complexities and wealth of “fascinating and utterly perfect nexus of symbolism and etymology” that are intricate and radical, shifting and through ‘a sea change’ perspectives that were taken for granted into something that is ‘rich and strange’ revealing the hidden pearls of the perceived obvious; weaving the myths and symbols that were scattered since the destruction of the Tower of Babel, presenting us a tapestry that depicts the ‘lost knowledge’, the original ‘secret’, where these myths sprang from, unifying all. After all, all things do reveal themselves, and Tracy was the conduit, the cataclysm, rather, the mind that created such reality and methods regarding understanding the anatomy of this entity and concept that is named Baphomet.

The book is haunted, and for reasons similar of which “Professor X” [The learned translator of the Essay] have claimed. Did I state that this book is haunted and invoking? One will experience strange and weird happenings and presence the moment one delves into the Introduction and specifically the Translation portions of this book. Physical evidence will surely prove itself before the reader. The imagery that are of Hammer-Purgstall’s essay are by themselves almost living fragments of a relic, of a whole of an egregore that was once well defined within a critical era in our civilization of both the East and the West. And such “Of sprites and goblins” is sensed as one taps into this book’s current. What also I have endured is that Baphomet did want this book to be published as soon as Tracy departed, since it was our duty and task to continue Tracy's legacy and work. There were nights Baphomet had assured that his presence is felt, and perhaps his apparition was seen and witnessed in a febrile dream or a wakeful vision; his psychic efforts with telepathy and inducing images on another’s mind were experienced in his attempts to force this book into the world.

These entities that are depicted, as they are of the mental world too, be it existent as a thing-in-itself, a living thing, or but within the mind of Man, some were communicated to me before as I was relating to Tracy the mental images that were transmitted showing us more answers to her questions visually, as we were in a seance session with Baphomet or Mete, including a corner stone.

Tracy's research into the matter, the matter of Baphomet, was not just through the means of scholarship or study; Tracy's methods are never one-dimensional, rather, metaphysics was applied to obtain, understand the more of the nature of this entity; and to obtain the information from the entity itself, Baphomet, rather than just depending on others' speculations or truths. “On one of these caskets I found what I consider to be the signature image, because it shows a horned idol (just a torso and a head, like the old “herm” statues that used to protect orchards in Greece) being given the osculum inflame on his posterior by a kneeling worshiper who also fondles the statue’s genitals. I first saw this image in a book that talked about Purgstall-Hammer’s work, but couldn’t find it in Purgstall-Hammer’s actual book. If I hadn’t found the casket myself in the museum I wouldn’t be sure that it existed.”

Meet Mete, is Introduction to the first English Translation of Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum by Joseph von Hammer-Purgstall, 1818.

In this introduction the occult researcher Tracy R. Twyman delves and with “fascinating and utterly perfect nexus of symbolism and etymology” into the concepts of Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum (The Mystery of Baphomet Revealed), where the author claimed to have discovered a number of idols and other artifacts on former Templar properties, the imagery of which allegedly sheds light on the heretical secret rites and beliefs of the Templars.

“In my opinion, Mysterium Baphometis Revelatumis, in addition to being a study of history, also a piece of history itself, and is history’s most important document pertaining to Baphomet, aside from the Templar trial documents themselves... This is because... while the story of Baphomet (as an entity under that name) may have begun with the Templars, it really developed as a concept mostly since Hammer‐Purgstall’s time, under his influence, both directly and indirectly.

"[F]rom my own experience on this project, I do believe that this text, the images, and indeed the entire subject matter, is cursed. I have had... frankly the worst luck of my life, while studying the subject of Baphomet for the last sixteen years, especially whenever I tried to focus on the Hammer‐Purgstall translation in particular. .. [I] have even have a term we have coined— “the Fog”—for the mental confusion, inertia, and weariness we felt overtake [me] whenever [I] sit down to work on it. ..The curse of Baphomet strikes again!"

"…I think the curse on Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum was intended to prevent anybody from getting as far as I have with making sense of this particular text, and from publishing it. If you are reading this, then that means the curse has failed, and maybe, with the help of the benevolent deity (however he may be identified), this demon guardian has been destroyed." So please, carry on, dear seeker, forward and beyond!"

The Introduction Meet Mete, is rich with images that add into Tracy's conceptualization through the language, a more vivid experience. Thus we had to print this volume in colour to preserve the experience of reading Tracy R. Twyman as she intended.

With the exception of three images throughout the book, all these images are from Tracy's original essay, and from her cache of images that she chose not to include in the work at the moment.

Tracy did intend to publish her Meet Mete essay as a book besides publishing the translation of Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum , Fake N.E.W.S.: Unboxing the Compass, Secret Statutes of The Templars, and The Secret of Minnie's Mousse.

She did plan to have the last four titles in limited editions print.

A quality, that must all have felt and experienced about Tracy's writings, that it does leave a lasting impression on the psyche. That is, you will see her concepts that you have just read, demonstrated here and there in your daily life, as if in synchronicity. And the concepts that she presents do take a hold on the reader, that they begin, in the back of your mind as you are going through your daily life, playing almost forcing themselves, or finding their way into the stream of consciousness to find yourself thinking about the realities she is trying to convey, perhaps, thinking to yourself, what if such realities were more 'real' than what we think.

After all, she was very able in magick, and she does create magick until this hour as you are reading Tracy's words; Tracy's writings are part of this pleasing current of the magical and strange.

Early Interviews of Tracy R. Twyman

A Posthumous Publication of Tracy R. Twyman by Mystagogue Publications.

Early Interviews is a collection of Tracy R. Twyman interviews that she conducted, and others where she was being interviewed. Most of these interviews are from the first five years of Tracy’s career, where she published them in Dagobert’s Revenge Magazine, from years 1998 to 2003/2004.

Included also is the epic interview Tracy had with Peter Levenda about the subject of the Nazi party’s occult roots. This Interview was published earlier by Richard Metzger of “The Disinformation” publication house in the collection The Book of Lies: The Disinformation Guide to Magick and the Occult, prefaced by the Scottish comic writer Grant Morrison.

Also included is an interview that Tracy conducted with Nicholas DeVere, the head of the Dragon Court, a secret society or order, that had Baphomet as a patron. DeVere also was connected to Tracy’s Ordo Lapsit Exillis which introduced the occult into the mainstream culture and sub culture in the Western World in the late 1990’a and early 2000’s. What we see today as fashionable, regarding the occult within the public, is the result of Tracy R. Twyman magic that she channeled into Dagobert’s Revenge Magazine in her early years.

Wolfzeit Magazine is a German magazine that was almost ‘identical’ to Dagobert’s Revenge Magazine in its theme, logos, and motto. When the publisher found out about Tracy’s Dagobert’s Revenge Magazine, he asked for an interview with both Tracy and Boyd Rice. The interview is included in this collection.

The interviews of Dagobert’s Revenge Magazine era are of the pro-Monarchist movement that Tracy was writing breathing life into: “Musick, Magick, Monarchism.”

Baphometic Excerpts & Other Articles is a collection of excerpts compiled by Tracy R. Twyman and previously published on her website, from both of her books Clock Shavings, and Baphomet: The Temple Mystery Unveiled. Also, the collection includes other articles written by Tracy pertaining to both books, and to Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum Translation and her work on the subject.

These three books do represent one of the most important phases in Tracy's writing and research career after Dagobert's Revenge Magazine revolution and success at her very early age (Tracy was at age 17 years old when initiated Dagobert's Revenge Magazine) . They are the results of years of research and multiple attempts to create a magnum opus regarding the subject of Baphomet. These three books are more of a mature effort and a final conclusive statement Tracy was able to state to the world regarding the meaning of the 'entity' Baphomet.

Included in this collection is Tracy's rare article “I Reap all the Wealth”: The Hidden Magical Properties of Chess, which was the first work Tracy wrote about Baphomet and Ageio, claiming the information was given to her by an 'old lady' instead of revealing her metaphysical methods in obtaining and communicating information.

Be aware, that it was Tracy Twyman who made it possible for the ‘occult’ to be integrated into the mainstream culture of the US, and the West, in our times as she published her Dagobert’s Revenge Magazine. And it was Tracy Twyman who popularized Baphomet within the public’s consciousness and psyche. She did mention to us before, that Baphomet chose her as his Ambassador when she was 18 years old.

This is not the first of Tracy’s; a couple centuries ago, it was her who published The Modern Prometheus, or Frankenstein’s Monster at the age of 18 years, as she was part of the English Romantic circle, with her husband Percy Bysshe Shelley.

Tracy reattempted writing her classic novel in Genuflect.

In January 2011, following an abrupt adjustment of polar north, the Minnesota Planetarium Society and the mainstream media proclaimed that a new zodiac system would need to be adopted. Ophiuchus, the Serpent-Bearer, was proclaimed as the “new” astrological sign for a new zodiac made of thirteen houses instead of twelve.

But all of this was foreseen back in 2002, by Tracy R. Twyman, then writing for Dagobert’s Revenge Magazine. In 2002’s The Cutting of the Orm, Tracy R. Twyman actually predicted that future reform of the zodiac and annual calendar would come about after a pole shift, in which a thirteenth house would be added to the zodiac, and a thirteenth month added to the year.

Perhaps most astoundingly, this prediction was made after examining numerical codes embedded in the literature published by the Priory of Sion back in the mid-twentieth century, within documents supposedly written by avant-garde artist and filmmaker Jean Cocteau. Following the clues left by this mercurial character, Twyman discovered a new calendar: not one useful for the present time, but one that might some day come into being. Furthermore, the clues also led her to reconstruct the old calendar of the Golden Age before the Flood, as it had been before the Earth’s axis was tilted to its present state. The results of this investigation will shock and amaze you.

As the Boston Book Review wrote in December 1998: “Nothing better illustrates the odd intimacy of the Bible and interpretation than The Legends of the Jews, a seven volume set of biblical interpretations that was compiled by the famous Judaic scholar Louis Ginzburg nine decades ago, and that remains unsurpassed and indispensable today..”

This series of books, published between 1909 and 1939, was certainly the first, and is perhaps the greatest, comprehensive overview of Judaic tradition, belief and lore ever published. Utilizing his proficiency in the Latin, Greek, Syriac, Aramaic, Arabic and Akkadian languages, Ginzberg was able to draw not only from the Torah, Talmud, and Midrash, but also from the Pseudepigrapha, Christian scripture and apocrypha, and Islamic legends, his sources spanning in origin from three centuries before Christ unto his own modern times.

The present volume, which has been out of print for some time, pertains to matters stretching from the time they entered the Promised Land, under the commanding lead of their anointed ruler, Joshua, until the rule of Queen Esther, including the period of the Judges, the reign of kings Solomon and David, the dividing of the kingdom, the captivity, and the return from exile.

"I first contacted the British Museum about these caskets in 2014. I was looking for the one with the lid, featuring the bearded "Cybele" figure, when I first asked to look through the catalogue of the Duc de Blacas collection online. When I did, I was shocked to find not only the casket in question (which I had read about in Thomas Wright's book from 1865, Worship of the Generative Powers), but also the other casket, obviously related."

"One image in particular, from the lid to a coffer found in Burgundy, looks most especially like it might have influenced Eliphas Levi's depiction of Baphomet. It shows a female or androgynous figure crowned with towers a la the goddess Cybele of the ancient world. He/she is holding in each hand a chain, and connected to each chain, floating in the air and upside-down, are the figures of the Sun and the Moon. Below the figure's feet are a 7-pointed star and a pentagram. Between these is a human skull."

"Thomas Wright's book Worship of the Generative Powers, which was about Priapian fertility cults and witchcraft" is one of the very early, and first references where Hammer-Purgstall's Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum was brought to Tracy Twyman's attention.

This book is heavily referenced in Tracy's work. The sexual rites of the worship of Priapus, and information about Templar's currency "abbey tokens" were elaborated on in her books like, Merovingian Mythos, Solomon's Treasure, Baphomet: The Mystery Temple Unveiled, Genuflect, of course her Endnotes on Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum; and other work and essays.

The Worship of The Generative Powers is one of the first listed books in a list Tracy Twyman had, to edit and reprint rare books, (rarer at the beginnings of 2000s), which Tracy also used as her resources in her research and writings.

Regarding: Clock Shavings

Tracy Renee Twyman has written a book that is unlike anything I've ever encountered. You might think it odd that I use the word `encountered' instead of the more expected `read', but there's a reason. You see I discerned something more than just a book here; there is a living presence, other than the author, residing within these printed pages. You will recognize this presence as a disquieting sensation that paradoxically pushes the reader away, while simultaneously pulling them deeper into the mysteries waiting within. At first you will sense a cautionary impulse, an interior warning to discontinue reading. However if you are willing to fight through this innate defense mechanism before long this feeling will give way to a deep fascination that will override that initial impulse. With that said, welcome to the stout of heart. Welcome to the world of Clock Shavings'!

Since this book is autobiographical in nature I feel certain that the author is more than just aware of this dichotomous fear vs. fascination process I am referring to. Unquestionably she has moved in some of the darker corners of the esoteric, occult world where the more cautious and timid amongst us dare not go. Such being the case she has become intimate with particular people, groups and spiritual practices that have opened her mind and soul to non-physical dimensions and entities that may have agendas that are not in mankind's best interests. Thankfully some people just don't know what's good for them.

Throwing caution to the wind Tracy takes the reader on a remarkable journey of mythic proportions involving a quest undertaken by her newly founded secret society, `Ordo Lapsit Exillis' (Stones of Exile). Operating under a stated goal of discovering the true nature of the holy grail and exactly how it functions within the esoteric history and contemporary descendants of the royal bloodline of France. A lineage which allegedly includes Jesus of Nazareth and Mary Magdalene within its line of progenitors. Aided by her best friend and husband Brian, Tracy's quest oscillates between objective intellectual research and subjective personal experience. The first leading to the publishing of the now defunct underground classic zine (self-published magazine), `Dagobert's Revenge' and the latter to a specially designed Ouija board used to successfully contact the infamous goat-headed god Baphomet along with a number of other nefarious disembodied spirits.

Believe me when I say you will not be able to put this book down. Between the highly charged channeled material, the internal politics and intense egos warring within the OLE (Ordo Lapsit Exillis) and the arcane material presented you're in for quite a ride. If you enjoy exploring such topics as; Grail lore, numerology, divination, alchemy, etymology, sacred geometry, mythology, Satanism, Kabbalah, secret societies, the Nephilim, lost civilizations, Christian eschatology, UFO's, reptilians and the hollow earth then this is the book for you.

The final section of the book; "Terminus: Further and Beyond" (pages 252 - 418) functions in true interdisciplinary fashion presenting a dazzling comparative analysis and synthesis of the material presented, as well as some final thoughts & personal reflections from Tracy. This section is by far the most intellectually demanding portion of the book and will require the reader's utmost attention.

Whether you regard Tracy's interests and actions as being fearless or foolhardy, her inquisitive nature and research oriented pursuits have led to the creation of an amazing document. The authors firsthand accounts with preternatural entities coupled with her intellectual prowess within a wide range of esoteric fields have successfully coalesced in `Clock Shavings' into what just might be her Magnum Opus (Great Work). I predict that in the years to come this will be recognized as the book that summoned Baphomet out from the dusty pages of Templar history and veiled allusions of Freemasonry into the contemporary occult landscape as a conscious, aggressive personality to be dealt with. Regarding: Baphomet: The Temple Mystery Unveiled

The lead-in to Baphomet: The Temple Mystery Unveiled by Tracy Twyman and Alexander Rivera is very deceptive. On Amazon.com, the authors describe the book as an investigation into the symbols, beliefs, and rituals of the Templars. Baphomet almost seems to be an afterthought. Twyman’s introduction to the book is a little strange, mentioning Ouija boards and haunted translators, but she seems earnest when she talks about her ordeal to unravel the mystery of Baphomet.

The book starts off promising, with the first chapter discussing the Templars and their downfall and recounting the efforts of authors Eliphas Levi and Joseph von Hammer-Purgstall to explain the meaning and nature of Baphomet. But subsequent chapters seem to have very little to do with Baphomet at all. One chapter discusses unusual elements of the Biblical myth of creation, another recounts the various myths and texts associated with Hermes, and yet another talks about esoteric interpretations of the figure of John the Baptist. It’s not until you get halfway through the book that you even begin to realize the authors’ real agenda, a conspiracy that is not fully revealed until you get to the last pages of this 600-page tome—and then it’s too late.

Perhaps the authors believed that fewer people would buy the book if they actually told the public up front what Baphomet is really about. Here is a more accurate description of the book taken from the blog of co-author Alex Rivera:

“In the book Baphomet: The Temple Mystery Unveiled, which I co-wrote with Tracy Twyman, we concluded that there were certain secret societies and even more traditional religious leaders (including cabbalistic Rabbis, among many others) are secretly trying to usher in the Apocalypse. Somehow, this involves using blasphemous sex magic, alchemy, mind-control and time travel, at the behest of the infernal trinity—Samael, Lilith, and Baphomet, so that they may incarnate into the Antichrist, damn the human race, destroy the universe, usurp the New Jerusalem—the Heavenly cubed city that descends from the chaotic heavens at the End of the Apocalypse.”

Baphomet makes much more sense after you read Clock Shavings, Twyman’s account of how she was drawn into a worldwide conspiracy to bring about this apocalypse. Her description of this book on Amazon doesn’t mince any words:

“In a dank basement in Denver, Colorado, in the summer of 2001, a group of friends attempted to contact a dead French artist on the Ouija board as part of a research project about the Holy Grail. They were hoping to get help decoding an historic occult mystery pertaining to the royal bloodline of France. They had no idea they were opening a portal to Hell. What followed was a 13-year adventure into the supernatural, trailing mysterious clues given to them from beyond the veil. Join Tracy, Brian, and the brethren of the Ordo Lapsit Exillis, as they explore the secrets of Freemasonry, the Knights Templar, the Priory of Sion, and the Apocalypse, gleaned from the ghostly lips of artist Jean Cocteau, Cain the Murderer, Baphomet the Goat, Lucifer the Lightbearer, and Satan himself. The first part of Clock Shavings presents an account of how Twyman became unintentionally involved in this conspiracy. A fascination with the Grail mysteries led Twyman to publish a magazine titled Dagobert’s Revenge, which became a popular source of mystery and information among other Grail enthusiasts. This in turn led to the creation of a secret society called the Ordo Lapsit Excillis (Latin: “the Stone of Exile”), an attempt to contact and network with other people interested in the Grail Mysteries. Things get really strange when Twyman starts using a Ouija board to converse with various supernatural entities, such as Baphomet, Cain, and even Jesus. They draw her into a conspiracy to establish a Grail king from the bloodline of Cain as the ruler of the earth, which will usher in a new era, as she explained to members of the OLE:

“We believe that if the true and rightful Grail king is placed upon the throne of Grail kingdom once again, and crowned in the proper ceremony, the very act itself will unleash a force that will cause a paradigm shift in our world, restoring it to proper balance. A series of world-altering events will unfold in rapid succession that will lead to the union of the world's governments under the rule of the Grail king. It will also fundamentally alter the spiritual nature of our world, and the consciousness of its inhabitants, which is the most important change of all.”

Baphomet plays an important role in this drama:

“Cain is locked inside of a prison within the center of the Earth - entombed, really - under a spell of death-like sleep. However, he is still able to use his incredibly powerful divine spirit to affect the course of events on Earth. He is still the Lord of the Earth, although he is immobilized. He takes especial interest in the royal human bloodlines that descend from him. He is able to incarnate through his descendants (and those who serve them). In his state, he has become known as "Baphomet," the god of "Sophia" (divine wisdom). He is connected to the figure of Asmodeus, the king of the demons, who is often depicted as being bound in chains, slumped over as if carrying an enormous burden.

The prison within which Baphomet is locked is the real Ark, and the real Holy Grail, for it contains his divine power. Whether one views it as a cup, a stone, or a box (as in the Ark of the Covenant), the symbolism is the same. It is the prison that contains the body and spirit of Baphomet. Jailed, Baphomet is thus at the mercy of whoever his jailer is. The question "Whom does the Grail serve?", then, is really saying "Who holds the key to the prison of Baphomet?"

We believe that when the Grail king is placed upon the throne of Drakenberg during the proper ceremony, Baphomet will be released from his prison. He will immediately possess the body of our king, so that he may once again rule as the Lord of the Earth. As his servants, it is our duty to obtain his release.”

Thankfully, at the last minute, Twyman comes to her senses:

“I was still working on this when I was suddenly seized with unrelenting terror about the future of the Ordo Lapsit Exillis. I reviewed the details for the Divine Rite - about ritually sacrificing Nicholas de Vere, then releasing the spirit of Cain/Baphomet to possess his body and rule the Earth. For the first time I truly came to grips with what it meant: an opening of the gates of Hades. … Not only would something like this bring unimaginable destruction and horror, but the blending of two previously separate dimensions that would result from opening the gate would distort spatial and temporal relationships as we presently know them.”

With this realization, she shut down the OLE and abandoned her efforts to bring about the destruction of the known universe. She also believed that she had been manipulated from the beginning to bring about these events:

“All along, Baphomet and the others had been riding me, driving me like a slave, constantly pushing me to do more chores for them. They had probably been doing that since I started Dagobert's Revenge Magazine at age 17. They wanted me to create an organization of followers (the order) and a body of propaganda (the magazine and books) to entice people into the same relationship. The real goal was apparently to train people to break these horrific creatures loose from their infernal jail.”

The last part of Clock Shavings presents Twyman’s disjointed speculations regarding the history and nature of this apocalypse, mentioning many of the same subjects covered in more depth in Baphomet. In her introduction, Twyman briefly acknowledges the influence that the ordeal recounted in Clock Shavings had on Baphomet, but insists that the present book is a product of standard research:

“I must stress that, although my obsession with Baphomet began because of an encounter on the Ouija board (which I did not ask for, mind you, as I was simply trying to contact a dead French artist at the time), and some of my early research was inspired by clues given to me in this manner, all of the information that you will find here was discovered and analyzed the old-fashioned way, pouring through books in various languages, some over two thousand years old, utilizing inter-library loan programs, and purchasing (at great expense) rare out-of-print volumes. We also used the plethora of old material scanned into Google Books, as well as the catalogues of display listings for several museums.”

Unfortunately, Baphomet is a pseudo-academic work as best. It lacks a coherent structure, and the thesis is hidden at the end of the book. There are no footnotes or citations in the text, and there is no index at the end of the book, just a bibliography. One gets the sense that they don’t want their readers to investigate their sources of information.

Most importantly, there are significant factual errors in the text. For example, one of the primary sources of evidence used to prove their Templar conspiracy is “Mysterium Baphometis Revelatum,” an essay published by Austrian orientalist Joseph von Hammer-Purgstall in 1818. Considered “a crucial piece of research,” the authors had it translated from Latin to English. Twyman announced the upcoming publication of the translation in her introduction to Baphomet, but unfortunately the essay was not published before Twyman’s death in 2019.

The reason the authors treasure this document becomes evident when you translate the full title of the essay: “Mysterium baphometis revelatum, seu fratres militiae templi, qua Gnostici et quidem Ophiani apostasiae, idoloduliae et impuritatis convicti per ipsa eorum monumenta.” ("Discovery of the mystery of Baphomet, by which the Knights Templars, like the Gnostics and Ophites, are convicted of apostasy, of idolatry and of moral impurity, by their own monuments.") The essay plays an integral role in the authors’ attempts to connect the Templars with the Gnostics, after which they assert (without proof) that the secret rites of the Templars incorporated every blasphemous, perverted, and criminal act that Gnostic groups were accused of by their enemies, the Catholic Church.

Hammer-Purgstall’s essay analyzes images of Templar artifacts collected by the author, and identifies images of hermaphroditic figures as Baphometic idols. He proposed that the name Baphomet meant “Baptism of Wisdom,” and that the wisdom referred to Sophia (Greek: “wisdom”), a major theme in Gnosticism. Other images linked the Templars to depraved rituals and sexual orgies. Hammer-Purgstall’s essay is considered spurious by many historians for a number of good reasons. The first is that no one has been able to locate the sources of the images of the Templar artifacts featured in his essay, as admitted by Twyman and Rivera:

“Since commencing our investigation of these matters, we have managed to bring to light much more regarding the origin of some of the images featured in Hammer-Purgstall’s book. Most of the artifacts seem impossible to find now. They do not appear to be listed as what Hammer-Purgstall called them in any museum. The pictures that purportedly came from the walls of churches cannot be verified, as in most cases the churches (located in what are now Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Germany and France) no longer exist. Even the townships they were in have changed names.”

Second, because these images cannot be located and verified, there is no actual proof that the images are connected to the Templars in any way. There is no obvious symbolism or writing in the images that specifically connects them to the Templars. The only connection appears to be Hammer-Purgstall himself. Finally, after reading the the Hammer-Purgstall translations printed in Baphomet and elsewhere, it appears that Hammer-Purgstall’s analysis of these images is primarily speculative, not historical. This doesn’t stop the authors from speculating upon Hammer-Purgstall’s speculations in one chapter and then presenting their own speculations as fact in a subsequent chapter.

Another important document used by the authors to lend credence to their conspiracy is the “Allocution Against the Freemasons” by Pope Pius IX. Curiously, they remark that the easiest place to find an English translation of this document is in Scottish Rite Freemason Albert Pike’s Morals and Dogma, right before they print it in full on pages 478-484 of Baphomet. An internet search for this “Allocution” by Pius IX returns no significant results, and for good reason: the entry in Morals and Dogma (which never mentions Pius IX) was stolen from Eliphas Levi! Pike actually plagiarized and slightly paraphrased a number of quotes from English translations of Levi’s books, including some of Levi’s proclamations regarding Baphomet. Twyman and Rivera’s “Allocution” originally comes from A.E. Waite’s English translation of Levi’s The History of Magic, not from Pope Pius or any other ecclesiastical authority.

Compounding their error, at the beginning of their book, the authors falsely claim that Levi converted back to Catholicism at the end of his life: “His final book, Magic: A History of Its Rites, Rituals and Mysteries, was a sad attempt to reconcile the faith of his family with the occult ideas he had promoted all along.” Here the authors give the title of the Dover Press edition of Waite’s translation of Levi’s The History of Magic, a book originally published in French in 1860, four years after the full publication of Levi’s first book on occultism, Dogma and Ritual of High Magic, and not at the end of Levi’s life. The authors then print a quote about the Templars, black magic, and Baphomet from the very same chapter of Levi’s History that Pike plagiarized! Had they actually read the five pages Levi wrote about the Templars in History, they would have discovered the real source of their “Allocution.”

In conclusion, if you’re amused or intrigued with half-baked apocalyptic conspiracy theories, you will enjoy Baphomet: The Temple Mystery Revealed. But if you’re looking for actual information on Baphomet, skip this book and go straight to Wikipedia. The true mystery of this deceptive book has now been revealed so you don’t have to waste your time with it.
